Roundtable Discussion: Under Pressure: Leadership, Performance and AI in Insurance Today

Senior leaders in insurance are operating in an environment of constant pressure — balancing performance expectations, regulatory scrutiny, transformation demands and increasing complexity. At the same time, AI is accelerating the pace of decision-making and reshaping expectations around insight, accountability and leadership.

This closed-door executive roundtable, led by Candace Steele (Canopius), will bring together a curated group of senior women from across the market for a candid, peer-led discussion on what leadership really looks like today. The conversation will focus on how leaders are navigating increasing expectations, making decisions at pace, and maintaining judgement and accountability in an AI-influenced environment.

Rather than focusing on AI theory, this session will explore the real challenges facing leaders today — from performance pressure and organisational change to resilience, influence and avoiding burnout. It will also highlight what is working in practice, including leadership approaches, decision-making frameworks and ways of building capability within teams.
